The Route

Brockwell Park lies between Herne Hill and Brixton.

The walk starts from Brockwell Hall at the top of the hill in the centre of the park.

The route takes in Ruskin Park, Greendale, Dulwich Park, Cox's Walk, Sydenham Hill Woods, Belair Park and returns to Brockwell Park to finish. If you do not already know the route you will be amazed at the abundance of nature within this part of London. On this day in May the area is at its greenest and brightest, bursting with life.

Total distance seven and a half miles. Three hours if you walk at normal pace, four and a half hours if you take it easy and stop for lunch in one of the delightful hostelries along the route.

All Adult Walkers will receive:
A map of the route
A set of directions
Historical notes on the places passed
An I-SPY quiz for children to complete
The chance to win a prize in the Draw

At check-in points along the route your entry form will be stamped. On return to Brockwell Park, all completed forms will be entered into the Grand Draw for your chance to win a prize.
